The bike lanes on Jackson Street, what’s the purpose of them and who paid for them? They look great but oh, my God that must have been a lot of money for people who ride bikes. I just went by there at 2 p.m. on Friday and there’s no bikes. It’s very strange what they did with that money. They could’ve done something else that helps people in Pottstown who are homeless.

I guess it’s nice that they’re putting these bike lanes in but shouldn’t they have fixed the roads in town first? Some of these intersections like Hanover and Wilson streets, it’s like you’re driving over a washboard. Like I said the trails are nice but if we have any money it should be spent on fixing these roads, they’re horrendous.

I see that report that came out the other day has the former President Obama in a big fat lie. It states that he said he didn’t know anything about Hillary Clinton’s private email server and he even said on TV that he only found out about it from the media. Well, well, well, the report says that’s not true. Got to hand it to the Democrats, they surely know how to lie but they surely know how to get away with everything. Nothing will happen there either.

We see in Friday’s Sound Off, Mr. Madara asks a question about how come the federal government changed his Medicare card not to use his Social Security number anymore but his TV provider and both banks ask for it. Why Mr. Madera the answer is obvious. The government wants to know how much money you have and the government wants to know what you’re looking at. They’re watching us all the time.

Are you kidding me with these bike paths all around town? They’re wide enough for a small SUV to drive down. Ridiculous. Put our money to good use.

In my 70 years I have never seen anyone ride a bike on Jackson Street. Also I’m wondering how are the snowplows going to deal with these crazy new bike lanes?

Now that Paul Manafort was spending Father’s Day in jail, he should be thinking what it will be like to spend the rest of his life in a New York penitentiary.

Do you think the Republicans would have just let it slide? Trump is also trying to blame the actions by the Trump administration taking away the children from their parents on Democrats. There is no law. Trump just decided to do it to put pressure on to get his wall. Shame, shame.

What is with the stop sign at Prospect and Evans streets? Why would you put a stop sign there? You didn’t need a stop sign there. Is this to control traffic so the police don’t have to? This is crazy. This is hard on your car stopping and starting, you waste a lot of gas and gas is quite expensive today. It makes no sense. It is right by the firehouse. The borough is crazy, they are out of control.

Trump is unhappy because he says he’s not getting enough praise about his meeting with Kim Jong Un. Someone should get him a participation trophy. Do you feel better now Donnie?

FIFA World Cup, Croatia versus Nigeria, they all stood for the national anthem. They all had their hands over their hearts for the national anthem. They all sang their national anthem. They put the NFL to shame.

If you don’t want to be separated from your children quit trying to bust through our border. I’m tired of laws being ignored and broken. Law abiding citizens should be protected. For a mayor to dance about defiance of law while his city is filled with debt, corruption and danger is a disgrace not to be cheered.

Dear Mr. Trump, lest we forget, Jesus Christ was an immigrant. His mother and father were fleeing a tyrant, trying to have a better life too.

Well, I see Manafort is in jail now. Who’s laughing now I wonder? Only a fool.
