Nancy (Santangelo) Paschall, 89, of Limerick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Manatawny Manor, Phoenixvil­le.

Born on October 18, 1928 in Norristown, Pennsylvan­ia, she was the daughter of the late Matthew & Angeline (Alba) Santangelo. And was the loving wife of the late Joseph L. Paschall Sr.

Nancy was a dedicated parishione­r of the Saint Teresa Calcutta Church in Limerick.

Nancy worked for Bell Telephone for 6 years and would later go on to work for many years at the Montgomery Hospital as the secretary in the lab services department from 1978 to 1987.

She was a loving mother, sister, grandmothe­r, great grandmothe­r, and dear friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Nancy would always say, “Her state in life was being a child of God, and loving her husband and children.” The three events that she treasured were: personally meeting St. Padre Pio while on a trip to Italy with Vera Calendra, meeting the Pope, and she and her husband meeting St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta during her visit to Norristown.

Nancy was a wonderful seamstress, loved to travel, loved to dance with her husband, enjoyed cake decorating, floral arranging, and loved to sew for the church and for its many events and procession­s every chance she could.

Nancy lived her life with always keeping God forefront and helping many people. She would often use the phrase, “Bringing in the sheep.”

Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Nanette Paschall Skewes, and Susan Paschall Forbes (fiancé Doug Strohl); one son, Joseph L. (Dorothy) Paschall Jr.; her siblings, Matthew (Barbara) Santangelo, Susan (Paul) Schraff, Marianna (Fred) Gockley; she is also survived by her six loving grandchild­ren; Douglas (Becky) Forbes, Christina (Chris Wabash), Stephanie Skewes, Dana (Brian Raab), Erika, Brianna (John Gaugler); and 7 great grandchild­ren, Roman, Maya, Athena, Julian Forbes, Peyton, Kennedy Raab, and Hope Marie Gaugler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Harry Santangelo, Catherine Savini, Charles Santangelo.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Limerick PA from 9:3010:50 AM. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dekalb Pike Norristown PA.
