John James “Jack” White, 90, husband of the late Marian (Becker) White, of Royersford, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Keystone Villa, Douglassvi­lle.

Born on March 8, 1928 in Royersford, he was the son of the late Beatrice (Griffen) and John White.

Jack was a graduate of the former Royersford High School and served in the United States Navy as a gunner for two years. He worked as a local barber for 64 years, from 1951 - 2015, having owned White’s Barber Shop for 59 ½ years, until he retired at the age of 86. He loved baseball, fishing, time spent with family and as a barber, had a devoted clientele.

Mr. White is survived by four daughters: Judith A. McLeod, of Royersford, Andrea M. White, of Royersford, Maria, wife of Jacob Fegely, of Royersford and Becky M., wife of Al Gombar, of Cape May Court House, NJ; two sons: Jeffrey D. White, of Royersford and John, husband of Diane White, of Pottstown; eight grandchild­ren: Malcolm, Michael, Laura, Erin, Aston, Keeley, Jack and Carly; one great-granddaugh­ter: Hayden; two sisters: Beatrice Hobbs, of Pottstown and Joan Clark, of Royersford; and longtime companion: Janet Miller, of Lake Ariel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road and Walnut Street, Royersford on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:30 am. Officiatin­g will be Rev. Tadeusz Gorka. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Cattermole­Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford.
