Joseph R. Morgan of Phoenixville

Joseph R. “Bogan” Morgan, 78, companion of Kathy Kraft of Phoenixville, PA, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at home.

Born on June 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Irene (Hornak) Morgan.

He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy having served on the destroyer USS Hale.

He worked for over 44 years as a printer feeder for the Container Corporation of America in Port Providence.

He was a member of the former Kohn’s Tavern Football Club for over 40 years and traveled to numerous college football games with the club.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, shopping and donating to those less fortunate.

In addition to his companion Kathy, he is survived by: Son, Joe Jr. husband of Pamela Morgan of Phoenixville, PA; Daughter, Kelly wife of Richard Beener of Mont Clare, PA; Grandfather of: Samantha, Joey, Brandon, and Brittany Morgan. Richard and Gregory Beener. Great Grandfather of: Aidan, Liam, Dylan, Nolan, and Aubrey Morgan. Stepfather of: Carl Jr. husband of Christie Kraft; Carla wife of Kirk Aquan. Step Grandfather of; Kiersten, Cody, Taylor, Alex, and Tristan. Step Great Grandfather of: Declyn and Elia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Saturday morning at Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
