Norchester scores 6 in the seventh, rallies over Oley

The Norchester American Legion baseball team posted seven of its 12 hits in the seventh inning on the way to a six-run rally and a 9-4 comeback win over Oley Post in Berks County League play.

Jack McLaughlin finished with a pair of hits, including a triple, out of the leadoff spot with an RBI and a run scored while Jordan Siket had a pair of doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Jack Rinehimer was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Jake Iyoob posted two runs scored and an RBI.

Calvin Endy pitched into the sixth inning before giving way to Ethan Andresen, who pitched the final four outs to pick up the win.

Draymond Zweizig was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI for Oley. EXETER 3, DANIEL BOONE » Payton Spiers scored on a fielding error in the bottom of the fifth inning to give the Blue Jays a Berks League win over the Mavriks.

Matt Fanelli pitched the complete-game for Exeter, scattering two runs (one earned) on six hits and four walks while fanning five. Justin Peifer was strong for Boone, letting three runs cross (one earned) on four hits and five walks. He also finished with three hits at the plate. WEST LAWN 4, BOYERTOWN 3 » Dalton Emerich scored on an error in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Owls topped the Bears in Berks League play.

Emerich finished with a hit and an RBI to go along with two runs scored while Tucker Sanders was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Jayden Himmelreich picked up the mound win with two clean innings where he struck out two.

Tate Yergey was 4-for-4 with two doubles along with an RBI and a run scored for Boyertown. SPRING CITY 3, PHOENIXVILLE 1 » Grant Calvarese pitched into the seventh inning, limiting Phoenixville to just one run on two hits in leading the Red Sox to a win.

Calvarese struck out six and walked four before giving it over to Nick Price for the final two outs. Kasey Caras was 2-for-3 out

of the leadoff spot while Andrew Huang and Gavin Boychuck each had a hit and a run scored. Kevin Cushing pitched 5-2/3 innings where he was tagged for three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks.
