Lucy Cocchimiglio of Bechtelsville

Lucy (Reed) Cocchimiglio, 65, of Bechtelsville, formerly of Norristown, wife of Michael Cocchimiglio, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at home, after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Alma (Boger) Reed.

Lucy was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville where she would volunteer with VBS and the youth club. She formerly worked at the Norristown State Hospital for 15 years as an aide.

Surviving with her husband of 32 years are children Stacey Stricklin, wife of Ron, Joshua Wilson, husband of Tara, Mike Cocchimiglio Jr, husband of Sue, Jonah Wilson, David Wilson, husband of Christa, Anthony Cocchimiglio, husband of Joanna, Daniel Cocchimiglio, husband of Ashley, Jonathan Cocchimiglio, Michelle Foster, wife of Nathan, and Samuel Cocchimiglio, husband of Faith; and 10 grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Shirley Evans and 1 granddaughter Jubilee Wilson.

Services and interment are private.
