BMBA’s inaugural Wine Walk debuts Friday

BOYERTOWN » The Berks Mont Business Association will kick off a monthly event “Corks for a Cause” Boyertown Wine Walk this Friday.

Visitors are invited to downtown Boyertown to enjoy a complimentary wine tasting of the shops along East Philadelphia Avenue, along with art, live music and more.

For $10 per person, guests can sample 10 different wines while enjoying the local shops and attractions in Boyertown.

Proceeds will benefit local Boyertown non-profit the Wellness Council of Boyertown.

“The BMBA is really increasing its efforts to reach out to the entire community through new endeavors,” said Debbie Bertolet, executive eirector of the Wellness Council of Boyertown. “We look forward to this exciting growth and the new benefits that will be shared throughout our area.”

The first Wine Walk will be held Friday, June 29, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. In addition, the Berks Mont Business Association will host a Wine Walk in Boyertown each month, on the fourth Friday from July through September. A different non-profit partner charity is chosen each month.
