Larry Gibble, 73, of Pottstown

Larry Gibble, 73, of Pottstown, husband of Terry L. (Hallinan) Gibble, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, at Sanatoga Center.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Kenneth W. and Katherine (Hums) Gibble.

Larry was a member of St. Aloysius RC Church and was a US Navy Veteran.

He worked for Johnson Matthey in Devon for over 25 years.

Larry coached the Knights of Columbus baseball team and Pottstown Little League for almost 20 years, starting with T-Ball and working his way up to the majors.

Surviving with his wife of 51 years is daughter Diana Rhoads; son Mark Gibble, husband of Lisa; grandchildren Justin and Matthew Rhoads and Ashley Thornton, wife of Phil and Jeffrey and Nicholas Gibble; great granddaughters Laila and Finley Thornton; and faithful canine companion Reese.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, 11:30AM at St. Aloysius RC Church, 223 Beech St, Pottstown, PA 19464 with visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Larry’s name to St. Aloysius RC Church School, 844 N. Keim St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
