William Istenes, 87, of Pottstown

William Istenes, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home in Pottstown, PA. He was the husband of Sara (Murray) Istenes.

Born in Pottstown, PA on October 5, 1930, William was the son of the late Paul and Anna (Eisinger) Istenes.

William loved riding his tractor and working his farm, but his biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

He is survived by two sons, William Rees, Jr., Pottstown, PA and Donald Rees (Melanie), Geigertown, PA; four grandchildren, William L. Rees, III (Terrilynn), Dennis Rees (Jaci), Joshua Rees (Amy), and Dara Boden (Todd); six great-grandchildren, Amanda, Gavin, Evan, Elton, Elane, and Mila; nieces, Patricia Scholz (Sieg), Douglassville, PA, Paula Flicker (Barry), Pottstown, PA, and Frances Corwin (Kevin), Pottstown, PA.

He is predeceased by one brother, Francis Istenes.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Limerick Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 44 Swamp Pk., Limerick, PA 19468.
