I enjoy watching President Trump do battle with the deep swamp. He’s our knight in shining armor. I’m so glad I voted for him and I’m going to vote for him, Lord willing, when he is reelected. Blue Collar Democrat

A big thank you to all those who participated in the organizing of the parade events at the park and the fabulous fireworks. They were the best ever. Greatly Appreciated

I’m not sure what township this is, it’s either Upper or Lower Pottsgrove, but you’ve got some potholes at the intersection of Keim and Charlotte streets. If you could address those I’d greatly appreciate it.

Have you seen the deceptive ad which features an accountant targeting Congressman Fitzpatrick for his tax reform support? The CPA states that 83 percent of the tax benefits go to the top 1 percent. Not indicated is that this will only be the case if the new tax provisions are allowed, as the law is presently written, to expire. It is why the tax cuts must be made permanent. Mark Furlong

Our Constitution gives due process and all the rights of the Constitution to anyone who is coming to our country. Doesn’t have anything to do with citizenship or paying taxes. It covers everyone. Everyone has rights.

This is for the person who wondered what happened to Jayson Werth. He recently at the end of June retired. He actually quit playing baseball. Jason was playing for the Seattle Mariners TripleA Tacoma team batting 206 and it came to him that it was time to hang it up.

It’s not that hard to understand why Russia favored Trump in the election. He’s not very smart and easy to manipulate. They knew that if they heaped praise on him and played on his ego he would be a pushover. Check out how many Russian dignitaries were at his inauguration. Robert Mueller is and they donated large amounts of money to help pay for the party.

This is feedback to the person who called Sound Off about clutter on private property throughout our townships and boroughs. I live by a neighbor who has clutter everywhere, unregistered vehicles, piles of wood, you know what I mean. Finally this house is up for sale and all of a sudden it’s being cleaned up and made respectable to potential buyers. Sell fast. Good riddance.

Pruitt now can go flip burgers with his wife. She wanted to flip burgers. Now he can get a job with her.

Even in heaven there is a wall, a gate and extreme betting. Grizz K.

Read an interesting article that in 50 percent of the states white people are dying at a faster rate than they are being born and that within 25 years they will be less than 50 percent of America. Let that sink in. That’s what really drives this hatred of immigrants legal or illegal. Let’s hope when that happens they will be kinder to us than we were to them. For those who thought that “Make America Great Again” meant make America white again, think again.

Does anyone remember when this country was in such chaos? Does anyone remember when it was so divided? I don’t, and I’ve been around for over 70 years. Most of my life I have supported the Republican agendas but I’ve come to a conclusion that the problem is Donald Trump. He does not try to bring the other side together; he keeps dividing them further. Republicans in Congress need to do something quick.

This is to the person who called into Sound Off awhile back. I truly am very sorry to the fact that no one helped you out. I’m really shocked. I am a rescue and I do help out in need. If you have kittens ever again and you find them or whatever the situation is please call me at 610-935-2177. Patty

The Borough of Pottstown is worried about paying for the fireworks. Why don’t they use some of that bicycle trail money where thousands of people enjoy the fireworks and a few enjoy the bicycle trails? Use some of that money and pay it off. JB, Gilbertsville

People are like tea bags, you never know how strong they are until they get into hot water. Think About It This is in reference to the person that asked about what happened to Jayson Werth. Well he left the Phillies, went to the Nationals and he’s retiring. A Phillies Fan

In 83 years I have never seen so much disrespect and lies being told from one party to another. It would appear to me that maybe these Republicans are running scared. PJ, A Proud Democrat

At 70 years of age I may not be that funny, athletic, smart, talented or handsome but ... I forgot where I was going with this. Jim Fitch
