NORTH COVENTRY » North Coventry Police responded on July 5 to Vaughn Road just south of Route 724 for a tractor-trailer that had pulled down wires and a pole as it exited Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant shortly before 11:00 a.m. Power was restored after approximately 8 hours by Peco crews.

EAST GREENVILLE » On June 7 at 4:30 p.m., two suspects were recorded on video surveillance inside SOS Products Inc., 401 4th Street, East Greenville Borough. No property appears to have been damaged or stolen. Police said Tuesday that one of the suspects has been identified as a 15-year-old male. Fraud investigation
AMITY » On Thursday July 9, Amity Township Police took a report of credit card fraud and possible identity theft. The victim stated she reviewed her bank statement and noticed a charge for $100 on her credit card from an Amazon Prime account activation, police said. The victim called the number 877-984-3212 to try and resolve the issue at which time she was asked to provide her identity and other personal information to resolve the issue. The victim negated to do so and, fearing a scam, ended the conversation. NORTH COVENTRY » The North Coventry Township Police Department is investigating a road rage incident that occurred on Route 100 southbound at approximately 5 p.m. on June 29. Police say the victim was driving south on Route 100 in the area of Boyertown when an operator on a blue motorcycle swerved at the victim’s vehicle. The road rage incident continued south on Route 100 into North Coventry Township. In the area of Route 724, the driver pulled next to the victim and struck the passenger’s side mirror with his fist causing it to break, police said. The driver was described as a male wearing a black and blue helmet. The motorcycle was last seen on Route 100 northbound.
