Lane restrictio­ns coming to Route 422, Ridge Pike

Overnight lane restrictio­ns are scheduled next week on westbound Route 422 and Ridge Pike as part of a project to repair and resurface 50 miles of state highway in Montgomery County, PennDOT announced. The work schedule is: • Sunday, July 15, and Monday, July 16, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane restrictio­ns are scheduled on westbound Route 422 between the Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Oaks interchang­es in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships, for milling;

• Tuesday, July 17, through Thursday, July 19, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane restrictio­ns are scheduled on westbound Route 422 between the Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Oaks interchang­es in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships, for concrete patching operations;

• Friday, July 20, and Saturday, July 21, from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m., lane restrictio­ns are scheduled on westbound Route 422 between the Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Oaks interchang­es in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships, for concrete patching operations; and

• Sunday, July 15, and Monday, July 16, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane restrictio­ns are scheduled on Ridge Pike between Crosskeys Road and Route 29 (First Avenue) in Lower Providence Township and Collegevil­le Borough, for paving.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.

As part of this improvemen­t project, Route 422 from just east of the Route 29 (Collegevil­le Road) Interchang­e to west of the Route 363 (Trooper Road) Interchang­e in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships, will be resurfaced.
