For property tax elimination, it’s irrelevant how many Republicans voted for it. It’s the Democratic lieutenant governor who cast the defeating vote. If the bills would have passed, Gov. Wolf would have never signed them. Vote out Gov. Wolf. Get It Right
It’s been about three weeks since we got our school property taxes and as I walk around the Stowe area I see several homes that are now up for sale that weren’t before. It makes me wonder since it’s always lip service from our representatives and they never settle this elimination of property taxes, what would happen if there would be more people renting apartments than home ownership? What would they do since they won’t do anything about it now? JT
It’s so nice to pick up The Mercury and read Sound Off and see the same old crybaby whiners just whining away about President Trump. He is doing exactly what we elected him to do. Doesn’t it get tiring to watch him keep winning and winning and winning? Make America great again.
Tucker Carlson outlined on his excellent Fox nightly show that how 100 years in the past Democrats fought for the common people. Now they are so radical leftists that the voters are looked on to be used to put them in power. This is making blacks and some whites flee the radicals like Pelosi, Cory Booker, Maxine Waters, etc. Hence the elites are afraid of Trump’s “Make America Great” agenda that is succeeding. The greatest thing Trump has done was to move our Israel embassy and recognize Jerusalem, also to finally make other countries hold up their end of deals, then we have our economy and jobs all while the constant attacks and witch hunt. I’m glad he tweets and swings back. God bless America. Lady Di
The partisan media is complaining the Trump tariffs will cause Coca-Cola prices to go up because it costs less than half-a-penny per can extra for the aluminum but nobody’s talking about the fact that soda prices went up because of the soda taxes, 12 cents a can or 15 cents a can versus a teeny tiny third of a cent per can. Goes to show the jaded media how they present things.
Rudy Giuliani says Michael Cohen is a pathological liar. He’s got some nerve. What about Rudy’s client Donald Trump? The man lies every day, multiple times a day. This isn’t anyone’s opinion, this is proven fact. Donald Trump is like the boy who cried wolf on steroids. And speaking of Rudy, ever notice how wide his eyes get every time he tells a lie? It happens quite often.
If Trump goes to Russia he’ll stay there so he won’t be convicted in the United States.

Facebook, maybe you should have been a little more careful about allowing all the outrageous lies that were passed through your Internet service especially the last presidential election. Wow, 4.1 percent GDP growth rate the other day. Obama said it would never go above 2 percent and he was probably right under Democratic control but thanks to Trump those days are over. Hope all the Sound Off haters can handle such good news. Hopefully six more years of prosperity. Go Trump.
Everyone sounded so surprised that Trump knew about the Russian meeting at his own hotel with his own son and son-inlaw. Trump knew it and you all act so surprised. Hey Trump, your lies are slowly moving in.

Our Gov. Wolf is probably so happy that no one is bugging him about school tax and getting rid of it. They got $30 billion in slot machine money. Where is it? Now we’re selling marijuana, more money to the state. We need to get rid of the school tax and our governments all need to stop being so darn greedy. We need to get rid of Wolf and get somebody in there who’s going to help us.
