Marie P. Vila of Pottstown

Marie P. Vila, 79, of Pottstown, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, in the Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Grace (Hardy) and William Slemmer.

Marie was a homemaker, a big Elvis fan and enjoyed karate.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen M., wife of Ricky L. Henry of Pottstown, Richard A., husband of Carrie Vila of Norristown and David J. Vila Jr. of Texas; and a grandson, Gregory V. Distajo of Pottstown. She is also survived by her exhusband, Richard A. Vila Sr. of Pottstown, who is also the father of her children and her friend.

Prayer Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA, on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick.
