Is it any wonder that our school/property taxes are what they are? Look at the Phoenixville School District. They just got done building a $60 million elementary school and they’re already looking for land to build another new elementary school, all because of over development. When will they ever realize that this development is not helpful to anyone really?

It’s nice to see that there are some attempts being made to improve Route 422, however the exit at Trooper that is now open looks like a very sharp turn to make going around that ramp. I sure hope traffic studies were taken and they can control the speed of people exiting Route 422 on that ramp or cars and trucks will slide and possibly tip over. Just my opinion.

I don’t get it. If you’re not currently in this administration, or not currently in the FBI or CIA or anywhere where you need to have a security clearance, why would you have a security clearance? You shouldn’t have the security clearance in the first place if you’re still not involved with it.

I am wide awake and quite aware to what is going on in our world today. Thanks to my favorite book we know how all this ends. I pray for us to be opened and souls to be saved. What I don’t understand is Trump has done it again and he does it again and again and again with false statements and crazy statements and lying and yet the Republicans still support him. The Republicans have to get together and get rid of Trump. It’s that simple. Trump is bad for America and the world. What is wrong with people who still support him?

I see where Hillary Clinton praised an 11-year-old girl for kneeling during the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Gov. Cuomo of New York said that America was never great and Elizabeth Warren said that all law enforcement in this country is racist. What do they all have in common? They are liberal Democrats.

The other day I saw an interesting statement on Facebook that goes: “The fact that jellyfish have survived for 650 million years without brains gives hope to many people.” Grizz

I see Aretha Franklin died. She was a good person. But what I’d like to know is if it happened right before a football game would they take off the football game to do the special report on her like they take off the other regular programs? I’ll bet they wouldn’t. Why not do that?

This is in reference to the opinion page editorial of Aug. 16 titled “President Trump, we are not the enemy of the people.” I think that should be published globally. I particularly like the very last sentence, “We are doing our job, one we take very seriously,” and I agree.

Isn’t it ironic that “the Queen of Soul”Aretha Franklin died on the anniversary of the death of “the King” Elvis Presley?

To the individual who is pleased that Trump was elected to do what he promised, here’s what he’s done — signed a tax cut for the rich, alienated our allies, separated children from their parents and disgraced the office of the president by lying to the American people repeatedly. The transparent SpringFord Area School District School Board is very efficient. In June they accepted a board member’s resignation and appointed a new member in less than five minutes. Wow.

Will MSNBC and all the other news networks stop repeating things that the Americans could care less about? The Russian investigation, who cares? Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner they are the real ones involved and they won’t be arrested but scapegoats will. Americans could care less about the Omarosa tapes that she recorded. Who cares? Keep this stuff off the news, nobody wants to hear it and nobody cares.

We have judges who say it’s OK for players not to stand for the anthem but expect us to rise when they enter the courtroom. What if the judge came into the courtroom and everyone took a knee?
