Police briefs: Theft, burglary, assault reported

Residentia­l burglary

NORTH COVENTRY — North Coventry Police are investigat­ing the report of a residentia­l burglary and theft of a motor vehicle that occurred in the 200 block of S. York Street on Sept. 2. Unknown suspects entered the residence, while the victims and their family were sleeping. They took a purse, wallet and keys including car keys belonging to the victims vehicles, police said. The victims became aware of the burglary after noticing that their silver Nissan Sentra, displaying PA registrati­on JVC1978, was missing and no longer parked in front of their residence. Police are requesting that anyone with informatio­n in this investigat­ion to please contact The North Coventry Township Police Department.

Attempted burglary

HONEY BROOK — Police are investigat­ing an attempted burglary reported at Honey Brook Elementary School, 1530 Walnut Road, Honey Brook. Details of the attempt were not disclosed and police are continuing to investigat­e.

Domestic assault

HONEY BROOK — Police responded to 259 Cupola Road on Sept. 2 for a report of a domestic disturbanc­e. Upon investigat­ion, it was determined that the incident involved a 24-yearold male and a 25-year-old female accused of domestic assault, terroristi­c threats and harassment, police said. Charges were filed in district court.

Theft report

HONEY BROOK — Police are investigat­ing a theft involving two juvenile males reported on the 4000 block of Horseshoe Pike. The theft was reported on Aug. 22 at 3 p.m. Police are continuing to investigat­e.
