Police briefs: Theft, burglary, assault reported
Residential burglary
NORTH COVENTRY — North Coventry Police are investigating the report of a residential burglary and theft of a motor vehicle that occurred in the 200 block of S. York Street on Sept. 2. Unknown suspects entered the residence, while the victims and their family were sleeping. They took a purse, wallet and keys including car keys belonging to the victims vehicles, police said. The victims became aware of the burglary after noticing that their silver Nissan Sentra, displaying PA registration JVC1978, was missing and no longer parked in front of their residence. Police are requesting that anyone with information in this investigation to please contact The North Coventry Township Police Department.
Attempted burglary
HONEY BROOK — Police are investigating an attempted burglary reported at Honey Brook Elementary School, 1530 Walnut Road, Honey Brook. Details of the attempt were not disclosed and police are continuing to investigate.
Domestic assault
HONEY BROOK — Police responded to 259 Cupola Road on Sept. 2 for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, it was determined that the incident involved a 24-yearold male and a 25-year-old female accused of domestic assault, terroristic threats and harassment, police said. Charges were filed in district court.
Theft report
HONEY BROOK — Police are investigating a theft involving two juvenile males reported on the 4000 block of Horseshoe Pike. The theft was reported on Aug. 22 at 3 p.m. Police are continuing to investigate.
