Chelsea Harvey was one of seven players putting up big numbers for the Pope John Paul II girls volleyball team Thursday.

It all helped the Golden Panthers blank Phoenixvil­le, 3-0, in their Pioneer Athletic Conference match. PJP won by set scores of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-16.

Harvey made 23 assists, four digs and two aces for PJP, which also got 12 kills and three aces from Mikaela Monroe. Madeline Mulcahey added five kills, Hanna Tulli six kills, Haley Spotts six kills, three aces and eight digs, Lexi McMonagle eight assists and one ace and Simone Sparano 13 digs..

Keara Hennessey made 17 assists for Phoenixvil­le. Kayla Grammersto­rf had 10 kills and nine digs. Romina Broglia added one ace, three kills and two digs, and Malu Salin Matos had three kills. Val Klick had four kills and four blocks for Boone while Madison Armstrong contribute­d 11 assists, three kills, three digs and three aces, Ally Santos added 15 digs and two aces, and Tori Pastor recorded two kills and one block. WEST-MONT CHRISTIAN 3, LEHIGH VALLEY CHRISTIAN 0 » Rachel Hetrick recorded six aces, two kills and four assists to head the Wings’ Atlantic Coast Christian AC win over Lehigh Valley Christian. West-Mont (1-1) won by set scores of 25-11, 25-10 and 25-10.

Jenna Heasley needed to make just three saves to record the clean sheet for Boone/ PHOENIXVIL­LE 2, LOWER MORELAND 2» Leeza Galli gave the Phantoms a late equalizer, but neither team could muster a game-winner over two overtime periods as they and Lower Moreland settled for a non-league draw.

Mary Michaud also scored for the Phantoms (1-1-1), who also got an assist by Morgan Beatty on the day.

Phoenixvil­le outshot Lower Moreland, 8-6, with Phantoms goalkeeper Ella Stout making six saves.

WEST-MONT CHRISTIAN 6, LEHIGH VALLEY CHRISTIAN 0 » Tyler Fox and Nick Collins each scored pairs of goals to key the Wings’ shutout of Lehigh Valley Christian in their Atlantic Coast Christian AC game, improving them to 2-0 on the year.

Field hockey

DANIEL BOONE 1, HAMBURG 0 » Lily Stefanelli scored in the second half to give the Blazers their margin of victory over their Berks Conference guest Hawks.

Stefanelli converted off an assist from Mackenzie Ring. Ashley Sinkeiner needed to make just four saves in goal to record the shutout for Boone in their season opener.

SPRING-FORD 7, UPPER MERION 0 » The Rams lost just two games in singles play on the way to their PAC sweep of the Vikings.

Tori Alexander’s 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles keyed Spring-Ford. UM’s best individual showing came at third doubles, where Madalyn Harvey and Claire Wilson won three games. UPPER PERKIOMEN 7, NORRISTOWN 0» The Indians got solid play in the shrunken doubles bracket as they swept the Eagles in their PAC match.

Shelby Livingston­e/Carly Jenkins and Beatriz Alcala/Darian White each recorded 6-0, 6-0 wins at first and second doubles, respective­ly. Norristown forfeited the other doubles play. Julia Gumieniak and Gina Brown won their respective first and second singles by 6-0, 6-0 results. PJP’s points came from the first doubles team of Shannon Farnsworth and Maggie Christians­en, and the fourth doubles pairing of Kyle Smith and Lina Park. METHACTON 7, POTTSTOWN 0 » The Warriors rolled the undermanne­d Trojans to sweep their PAC match.

All Methacton’s singles, and its first-doubles team, won by matching 6-0, 6-0 scores. Pottstown forfeited the remaining three doubles contests. OWEN J. ROBERTS 7, BOYERTOWN 0 » The Wildcats lost just three games in singles play en route to their PAC sweep of the Bears.

Elaina Lee’s 6-0, 6-0 at first singles was matched by OJR’s second doubles team of Cara Semach and Maria Monteleone for best individual efforts. Boyertown’s second through fourth doubles pairings each won three games.

Boys golf

METHACTON 182, POTTSGROVE 215 » Posting the match’s five lowest scores, the Warriors outshot the Falcons in their PAC outing at Gilbertsvi­lle G.C.

Methacton was led by Nick Martin’s 35 and A.J. Thomas’ 36, with Dylan Lasecki, Jason Rieger and Jeff Cooper all checking in with 37s. Josh Keppley shot a 40 to lead Pottsgrove.

180 » Lily Byrne shot a one-over 36 at Honeybrook to lead the Whippets’ PAC victory over the Warriors.

Riley Thomas had Methacton’s low score, a 39, with Ashley Liu following at 40.
