Things I wonder about. I’ve learned through my many years of life that if you tell a woman you really like the way her hair looks, you like the color, the length, the style, you tell her you like it but within two weeks she will have different hair. Don’t ask me why it’s just one of those things I wonder about. —AR

While driving daily in Pottstown during the past few months I’ve seen only one bicyclist. He was not using any of the bike lanes but was riding the wrong way on one-way Franklin Street. He rode through the intersection with Beech Street without stopping. Since you don’t have stop signs when riding the wrong way on a one-way street I guess he figured that was OK.

The 2019 salary increase total for Pottstown police will be up to 10.25 percent. A former member of borough council said police are out in the cold as far their salaries. Dan Weand says a 12 percent tax increase this year was due to all the reassessing homeowners. —Bruce Madara

There are people that read the Bible then there are people that say they read the Bible. The facts are according to Life Way Research only 20 percent of Americans have read the entire Bible and maybe 15 percent have read half while 53 percent have read up to a few passages or stories. The worst are Catholics with only 17 percent reading. It’s no wonder that most Christians get confused when confronted with questions about the Bible. —Agnostic

To all the Trumpers who say it’s all about the economy and that’s all that matters, so as we raise our kids these days we should tell them that it’s all right to be a liar, a cheater, bully, racist and sexual abuser just as long as they have money in their pockets? I’m sorry, my morals are a lot higher than that.

If I were Mitch McConnell conducting the SCOTUS confirmation hearings, I would let the Democrats know that the next time one of these idiots interrupts the hearings by standing up and screaming, we will conclude the hearings and call for a vote. It’s all a show anyway, they will certainly approve President Trump’s selection. It’s a done deal. —That’s What Our President Would Do

Often omitted when teacher compensation is compared with fair market value are such items as pensions, healthcare benefits and a 37-week vs. 52-week work year. In a comprehensive study and thorough rebuttal to counter arguments, Richwine and Biggs determined that educators enjoy a 52 percent “total compensation” premium over fair market value. What has it delivered? Mediocrity. —Mark Furlong

I’m amazed at how well things in our country are going. Business is up and the unemployment rate is so low that even Colin Kaepernick found a job. —Jim Fitch

A set of keys has been found on Longford Road near Ferguson Plumbing. It has a Retro Fitness tag on it and a patriotic flag key. The keys were turned into the Upper Providence Police Department if they’re yours.

Having watched some of the Kavanaugh hearings these Democrats I really don’t think they listen to what they are saying. it’s absolutely incredible. You take Cory Booker and the senators and put them with Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and you will not have a big enough padded room to put them in. These people need some counseling in all seriousness. My God they can’t even think or talk straight. —Just My Opinion

Funny the media that is lifting John McCain up now is the same media that demonized him during his presidential run against Obama. The press is not free. It is run by the liberal left just as the gang of anarchists. —Lady Di

Dee Dee, I have three granddaughters in school. Just wanted you to know that senior citizens do not pay for their lunches, the parents do.

Democrats’ corruption and lies show every day they’re for themselves not for the people. Their minds don’t function right. Vote them out.

Anyone seeking a position for public office must be required to release tax returns for the previous five years and undergo a polygraph test. Just a thought.

I don’t know why I even pay attention to this but they say gasoline was supposed to go down after Labor day. Well it’s going up. We’re all being made fools of. We’re all being duped. Unfortunately all our politicians have duped us for years. When you’re trillions of dollars in debt there’s no one watching anything. Run the debt up it’s so easy. They pay for nothing so I don’t know why we have them but we do.
