It’s about time OJR starts making parents pay for something for their kids. Why should the taxpaying senior citizens have to foot the bill for everything? This is to Jay Miller. I’m glad to see that President Trump did something about this out-of-control EPA as far as water and air quality goes. Air quality and water quality is so much better today than it was 50 years ago and the EPA’s trying to make air and water quality like it was before God put man on earth.

There’s a big stink right now with Kaepernick and this shoe company. Well I don’t wear their shoes anyway, I usually buy work boots, but when it’s time to relax I go to Boscov’s for my sneakers because they have good sneakers at a reasonable price.

You just can’t make up this stuff. Donnie boy criticized the justice department for indicting two congressmen who violated federal laws. Excuse me, isn’t that exactly what we pay them to do? I mean the indicting criminals part, not the law breaking part.

What a sad state of affairs. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have died to make this country free and great and now we have a man in the White House whining like a 5-yearold, “I want my wall or I’ll shut the government down,” and his flock of loyal supporters following along like a flock of sheep being led to the slaughter all the way along chanting “We’re making America great again.” It is sad, so pathetic I just can’t hardly stand it. —AR

Regarding the AFSME Union here in Pottstown our pension is funded by ourselves. Nothing comes from the taxpayers. We do not get any money from the taxpayers when it comes to our pensions.

Embarrassed Democrat, how can you say that President Obama was the worst president? You have forgotten George W. Bush who got us into two wars at one time, Iraq and Afghanistan. We are still in Afghanistan after 17 years. Remember Donald Trump promised us he would get us out of Afghanistan as soon as he took office. President Obama served for eight years without one indictment or scandal.

History tells us that Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones $850,000 after he assaulted her. Does anyone remember the FBI raiding his attorney’s office? Neither do I. —Jim Dandy

Lady Di, you don’t seem to understand the antiTrumpers aren’t the problem, it’s Trump himself. You don’t realize that Donald lives in an alternate universe for whatever he makes up in his head becomes fact. Once my child starts High School at OJR are you saying we must pay additional monies to use Chromebook? What is the technology person doing with the department budget that he or she are controlling? Is this a way to squeeze more life out of everyday people? What is our school board doing, are they turning a blind eye? Will additional monies be required for other uses of equipment in OJR? To JT, you said about how great this unemployment rate is and everything else for Trump. Look at the last five years when President Obama was in office how the unemployment rate came down from 12 percent to 5 percent roughly. Look at his figures the last five years how many people got jobs and besides that we were going into a recession when he took over in 2008, the worst recession since 1932. That’s some facts for you, check them out.

To Bob Not From Mont Clare or wherever you’re from, I was voicing my opinion about work and unemployment. You are making comments about something you know nothing about. Comments and opinions are two different things. Get out your dictionary.
