The Pottstown Aircraft Owners and Pilots Flyin Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Sept. 16, at The Heritage Field Airport (KPTW), 3310 W. Ridge Pike. POTTSTOWN » A program about the Edgewood Cemetery on High St. in Pottstown will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17 at the Pottstown Historical Society, 568 High St. Michael Snyder, noted local historian, will discuss the cemetery which was founded in August 1861. Mr. Snyder will review the historical markers, monuments and family plots, as well as the famous and “infamous” residents among the approximat­ely 3,000 interments.

Also, an Ice Cream Fundraiser will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Coventry Parlor, 653 Laurelwood Road, Pottstown.

OAKS » A Senior Living Expo will be hosted on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Greater Philadelph­ia Expo Center, Hall D, 100 Station Ave., by Rep. Warren Kampf (R-Chester/Mont.) More than 60 exhibitors from local and state agencies, medical organizati­ons and a variety of senior-focused organizati­ons will be on hand to share their expertise and informatio­n on services and issues important to seniors. The public is urged to come take advantage of the many free health screenings available. Several guest speakers will provide valuable informatio­n on a variety of topics. The expo is free. Refreshmen­ts and tickets for door prizes will be available.

BOYERTOWN » Par in the Park Community Disc Golf event hosted by Phat Cats Nation will be held from 9 to 4 p.m. plus Glow Round to begin at dusk on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Boyertown Community Park, South Madison Street. POTTSTOWN » A free informatio­nal session on adoption and child and youth foster care will be presented by Diakon Adoption and Foster Care at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Manatawny Manor, 30 Old Schuylkill Road.
