Roger Dale Bauman Jr. of Pottstown

Roger “Roggy” Dale Bauman Jr., 38, of Pottstown, husband of Melissa Mae (Pierce) Bauman, passed Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Roger Dale Sr. and Rebecca Sue (Calvert) Bauman.

Roger was the proud owner and operator of Crete Carrier and his truck “Blue.” He was a very kind and giving person to those in need. He and his wife would make Thanksgiving dinner for other truckers. Roger loved spending time with his wife, daughter and entire family. He also loved grilling and his dogs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving along with his wife and parents is one daughter Savana Rose Bauman; sister Tina Louise Bauman; grandmother Stella G. Bauman; and grandfather Charles L. Calvert Sr. husband of Rebecca.

Roger was predeceased by his grandmother, Alice Mae Calvert, and his grandfather, Clair S. Bauman.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday September 18, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00-5:45 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roger’s memory to Savana Bauman for future college fund at 16 W. 2nd St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
