Take a look at what friends and neighbors are saying about local hot topics and join in on the conversation.

I’m calling about the man that was shaving on public transportation. I don’t understand why people are so up in arms about this. He wasn’t exposing himself or doing any kind of other nasty things in public. Did you ever ride on public transportation? People do a lot nastier things than that. Then you find out he was shaving so he would be clean to meet his brother. Can’t judge a book by its cover and people are too quick to do that today.

I’m commenting about the murder of the girl from Iowa back in July who was killed while out running. I live in Collegeville and there’s a group of girls anywhere from five to 10 in a pack that go out jogging. I applaud their street smarts and I let them know it when I see them. They should always stick together in a group. You go girls.

I’d like to know why, when they have all the meetings with these dignitaries, they call it a round table meeting? All the tables I see are square or oblong so I don’t know where they get the round table from.

This is to the person who says that 3,000 people died overnight because of what the government was going to give to Puerto Rico. People don’t die right away from the storm, they get poisoned from the water they’ve been drinking, they get diseases, people get killed from fixing telephone poles in the grid. So think about some of that stuff before you talk about all of a sudden it was 3,000 dead. You sound like Donald Trump.

I welcome all comments to my Sound Off posts. Recently my narrative on President Trump’s Russia policy was poorly received by two non-Trumpers. To the first responder, nowhere in my post did I mention sanctions; and to the second responder, yes I do pretty good at cherry picking. My cherry pies are considered a delicacy.

Whoever made the decision in Pottstown to take up the streets for bicycle lanes should lose their jobs. What a waste of time and money. I have never seen one bicycle rider on any of them.

Judge Kavanaugh, they’re making such a big deal about what he did 36 years ago. It seems like the Roe vs. Wade people are so afraid of him getting in and overturning it to get rid of abortion and they don’t want to hear that so that’s why they’re trying to slam him on anything that he’s doing. What are they going to do next, are they going to go back when he first soiled his diaper? Boy what a bunch of jerks.

To the individual still complaining that the communities have not done anything to control spotted lantern flies, that’s because nothing can or should be done. There is no safe spray without killing honey bees and other pollinators. If you have had the flies this summer destroy the egg clusters, that’s the way to get rid of them.

Three weeks ago they milled Hanover Street. I thought in a few days they would pave it. We’ve had some nice days since they milled. The other day they paved a little stretch in the rain. Wednesday was beautiful but no paving.

In the situation with Puerto Rico, whenever it comes up to be a vote for statehood they always shoot it down. They don’t want to pay their fair share of taxes. They want all the goodies. So when things happen they ought to think about that. And the guy was right when he said about the death toll going up to 3,000 when they found out FEMA was going to pay for some of the burials. Come on people wise up.

Please all hospitals, doctors, dentists, funeral directors, any kind of appointment necessary for a call back, please speak loud enough so we can hear it. Not everybody has 20/20 vision or can hear excellently like the next person. Please I ask, speak loud enough so we can hear you and we can copy the number.

To Jay Miller, it’s bad enough that Americans commit crimes against other Americans but when the illegals are in this country committing crimes against Americans that’s even worse. But I guess liberals like you Jay just don’t get that.

This is to the C Section, floor one of Parkhouse. The nurses, the aides and the therapists were all great caring people. They deserve a raise. I will never forget the great care I got. I was in room 111 bed two. Thanks to all.
