Stanley J. Suwala of Gilbertsville

Stanley J. Suwala, CPCU, 77, of Gilbertsville, husband of Joan (Heaton) Suwala, passed away September 25, 2018, at his home. He was born on February 26, 1941, in Philadelphia. Stanley gained a degree in business accounting from St. Joseph’s University and had a successful career as an Allstate agent for 44 years.

Stanley was married to his loving wife Joan (Heaton) Suwala for over 43 years. They raised 3 daughters and enjoyed being avid Philadelphia sports fans. Stan was actively involved in the community by sponsoring various youth sport teams and enjoyed spending time with his 4 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Joan, his daughters and their husbands, Christine and Pete Simon, Teresa and Steven Havrilla, Lorraine and Martin Kraus; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Brayden, Reilly and Scarlett.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 11:00 AM at St. Columbkill RC Church, 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown with visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be private.
