Trump tells it like it is and you screaming liberals can’t get used to it.

To the individual claiming there was a cover up of a power plant “meltdown,” Duke Power had coal ash impoundments at two coal power plants by rising flood waters. You need to check your facts before you make false claims. —One Who Knows

Tiger Woods’ miraculous comeback might be the greatest in sports history.

I’m calling to tell you about a new establishment Bella Italia in Sanatoga across from the firehouse. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful and if you want a good pork sandwich this is the place to go. They have a great selection of beverages. —Carol from Gilbertsville

Remember Hillary Clinton said “You could put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables — racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it.” Well I hope all of us deplorables will continue to support our president and vote for Mr. Wagner and Mr. Barletta.

I have one word for Dr. Michael Malstrom, his staff at Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania and the staff of Physicians Care Surgical Hospital and that is phenomenal. These amazing people took me, a terrified old woman in need of cataract surgery, and made it what seemed to be a walk in the park. The skill and kindness shown to me was indeed phenomenal and I am forever grateful for my new eyesight. The world is sure beautiful. Thank you all. —Irene

If Bruce Castor would have done his job years ago, this Bill Cosby thing would have been over and done with long ago and he would have already been sitting behind bars.

Pottstown has lost a real asset in the passing of Bill Sharon. I’ve known him for 30 years serving on committees with him trying to make Pottstown a place it could and should be. Whenever a problem arose in historic neighborhoods he was a phone call away, always positive about making Pottstown a better place even when I was discouraged. No one can replace him, they can only try. It was an honor to know him. He will be greatly missed —Deborah Castle

Regarding the notice on telephone polls on Cherry Lane regarding a missing cat, please be advised that any cat or dog roaming free without fencing, a leash or being inside a house will be captured by animal control and taken to the SPCA. If you are missing a pet call animal control or the SPCA. By the way you are not allowed to feed feral cats.

I see Sen. Coons from Delaware wants Judge Kavanaugh to disprove the allegations that are placed against him. Sounds like they want to send him to the Gulag in Russia. In the United States you are innocent until proven guilty. Apparently many of these so-called legislators have no idea about the Constitution of the United States protecting the rights of the individual. Shame on Chris Coons and all who would assail the rights of the individual.

For the person who wanted information on Decades channel I did a search on it at www.decades.com where to watch in Pennsylvania and they say Philadelphia PA/ WDPN over the air 2.5. For Comcast, FIOS and Cablevision they all say coming soon. They actually changed that channel over to Start TV but I guess it’s going to be coming on another channel soon, at least the Decades will be. So until it comes back on enjoy Start TV.

In response to Monday’s Sound Off regarding the downfall of Pottstown, do you not remember all the front page stories from the 70s that it was the cruisers that ruined Pottstown by supporting the local restaurants? It was the cruisers, just remember. It’s in the archives I believe too. —The Bimbo from Douglassville

When President Obama used a teleprompter Republicans complained but now that Trump uses one they are silent. The problem is Trump cannot even use one and stay on script. He was giving his UN speech and got off script by saying his administration has done more than any other president. It was met with laughter and then he said “I didn’t expect that response.” He speaks and the world is laughing. —DP

I cannot believe the parents these days not getting involved. “Oh I’m not getting involved in teenage drama.” Well guess what? That’s what’s wrong with the kids today. Parents not getting involved, letting their kids do whatever they want. Disrespectful.

Hey Jay Miller you’re saying that kids in their 20s can’t make decisions yet? Maybe we ought to change the voting age to around 24 instead of lowering it to 18. How’s that go along with your theory? —JB, Gilbertsville

This is to the person who says that they’re throwing Dr. Ford in at the last second obviously to make up the story. Yeah that’s what they said about Bill Cosby. You see where he is now, prison.
