Mary Elizabeth Wiand, age 84, wife of the late Robert P. Wiand, of Douglassvi­lle, PA, and formerly of Spring City, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Phoenixvil­le Hospital Tower Health.

Born on November 13, 1933 in Kingston, MD, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Minnie (Yoder) Baker.

She was a graduate of Princess Anne High School and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Vincent Mennonite Church. Her interests included sewing and crocheting as well as canning and freezing the harvest of the farm’s gardens and orchards.

Mrs. Wiand is survived by Four Sons: J. David (Rose) Wiand of Boyertown, PA; Robert P. Wiand of Horntown, VA; Daniel L. Wiand of Landisburg, PA; and James S. (Kathy) Wiand of Exeter Twp., PA; Two Brothers: Jesse (Jo) Baker of Smithville, TN, Neal (Pauline) Baker of Los Lunas, NM; 6 Grandchild­ren and 8 GreatGrand­children. She was also pre-deceased by a Son, Stephen L. Wiand and Daughter, Marilyn Ebright.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Vincent Mennonite Church, 39 Seven Stars Road, Spring City, Pennsylvan­ia on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiatin­g will be Rev. David S. Mansfield. Burial will be held in the Vincent Mennonite Cemetery, Spring City, Pennsylvan­ia. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA and Thursday at church from 9:45 to 10:45 AM.
