Thomas E. Mitchell, age 67, husband of Kathleen A. (Fedorsic) Mitchell, of Royersford, PA, formerly a longtime resident of Phoenixvil­le, PA passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at home.

Born on February 18, 1951 in Phoenixvil­le, PA, he was a son of the late Frank O. and Theresa T. (Winnick) Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell graduated from Phoenixvil­le High School, class of 1969. He married the love of his life, Kathy, on August 14, 1971, sharing 47 years of marriage.

He was a member of St. Basil R.C. Church in Kimberton.

He was Past Grand Knight of the St. Basil Knights of Columbus Council #13800, and a Fourth Degree Knight in the Father Tomko Assembly 934 in Bridgeport, PA.

Mr. Mitchell worked as a salesman and in management positions at several local auto dealership­s.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Mitchell is survived by two children, Wendy L., wife of John Kubasko of Mechanicsb­urg, PA and Thomas E. II, husband of Megan (Gallagher) Mitchell of Marlton, NJ; five grandchild­ren, Mitchell and Nathan Kubasko and Thomas C., Colin, and Maura Mitchell; six siblings, Mary Jane Wagner of Royersford, David V., husband of Patricia Mitchell of Kimberton, John H., husband of Susan Mitchell of Lewes, DE, Susan E., wife of the late George McGeehan Sr. of Parker Ford, Veronica J., wife of the late Eric Vaughn of Parker Ford, and Theresa A., wife of the late Daniel O’Donnell Sr.; two sisters-in-law Jeannie, wife of Vernon Readman of Phoenixvil­le and Margaret, wife of Earl Blank of Pottstown; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Fannie. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by two siblings, Barbara Mitchell and Frank J. Mitchell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:30 AM. Officiatin­g will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be held in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixvil­le. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM 11:15 AM at the church.
