Anna E. Clapsaddle

Anna E. (Wells) Clapsaddle, 107, wife of the late Frank C. Clapsaddle, of Norristown, formerly a resident of Hatfield for over 40 years, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Towne Manor East Center. Born on July 28, 1911 in West Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Carrie (Daly) and John Wells.

Anna was an avid bowler, loved to crochet and was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Lansdale, until is closing, and then in Phoenixville.

Mrs. Clapsaddle is survived by her children: Carrie A., wife of Don McCoy, of Phoenixville and William C., husband of Dolly Clapsaddle, of Exton; seven grandchildren: Kathy Hall, Penny Altieri, Donna Musetti, Chris McCoy, Debbie Lynch, William Clapsaddle and Frank Clapsaddle; eleven great-grandchildren; and ten greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Road, Oaks, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel K. Olsen. Interment will follow in the Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken. Memorial contributions may be made in Anna’s name to Moose International, Women of the Moose, 155 South International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539-1100.
