John M. Wasko, 81, of Bradenton, FL, passed away at home on September 17, 2018. Born in Phoenixvil­le, PA He was preceded in death by his parents John Wasko and Julie (Platco) Wasko. He is survived by his daughters Theresa Williamson of Pace, FL and Tara Wasko of Bradenton, FL, two Grandchild­ren Dustin Williamson and Drew Williamson, Pace, FL; his four sisters, Elizabeth Farnquist wife of Jack Farnquist Mont Clare, PA, Joan Roncase wife of Raymond Roncase, Phoenixvil­le, PA, MaryLou Sumner wife of William Sumner Mont Clare, PA and Julia Greenan Phoenixvil­le, PA and his brother James Wasko of Albrightsv­ille, PA.

He worked at Westinghou­se Electric Corporatio­n retiring after 26 years. Hired as a Maintenanc­e Electrical Engineer later worked as a Manager in Philadelph­ia, PA, Hastings, NE and Pensacola, FL After retirement west to China to assist in a multi-million dollar joint venture with China.

Proudly served with Tank Company 111th Infantry Regiment Norristown, PA and the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.

He graduated from Widener College Chester, PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administra­tion in 1976.

He was of Byzantine Catholic Faith and grew up in Mont Clare, PA and is a life member of Saint Michael The Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church Mont Clare, PA.

He was member of the Loyal Order of Moose North Hillsboro, FL Lodge 1741 and Legion 125, Life Member DAV Manatee County FL #18, American Legion Post 0312 Oneco, FL, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3483 Pensacola, FL Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10141 Bradenton, FL

Funeral Services will take place at Saint Michael The Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Mont Clare, PA, Burial in Saint Michaels Cemetery Mont Clare, PA on Friday, November 23 at 10am.
