We now have a record number of women in Congress. That brought back the memory of the old Phoenix, a bar in Phoenixville. The building had a front entrance and a back entrance with a sign over the back door which read “Ladies Entrance.” Times have changed and woman are coming through the front door now. I visit my sister at the nursing home in Royersford called Parkhouse. For the past six months in the North building which is eight floors there’s two elevators, only one in service for the past six to eight months. It takes forever waiting for the one elevator. They say they’re waiting for a part. Where is it coming from, Jabip?

A lawmaker who lost the election said he did not push Bill 76 because it did away with property tax on all businesses which pays half the school tax and puts the burden on the middle class who pays most of the tax.

Also Trump said the Navy seals should have found bin Laden much sooner. The retired admiral that was in charge of the operation Trump called him a Hillary Clinton fan. I see we have another email scandal going on. Now when Trump holds a rally and people start chanting “Lock her up,” he won’t know if they’re talking about Hillary or Ivanka.—

Before they worked on the tracks on Route 100 between State Street and Shoemaker Road last weekend, it was a smooth ride going over the tracks. Now since they worked on the tracks it’s like a roller coaster when you go over them. Total waste of taxpayers’ money on top of the inconvenience to all drivers shutting that stretch of Route 100 down.

Isn’t it really ironic, when crooked Hillary thought she would defeat our now great President Donald Trump she said she hopes Mr. Trump and Republicans will accept the defeat and not challenge our great voting democracy. She still hasn’t accepted it and now look who won’t accept defeat in Florida and Georgia. The Democrats are still trying to cheat their way into office. —Four More Years Baby

So our clueless president called the California wild fires a really big fire which is pretty dumb but then went on to say that they were results of “poor forest management.” However scientists including those on his own EPA staff attribute them to climate change resulting in elevated temperatures and prolonged drought. —One Who Knows
