In regards to the Saudi killing one of their own citizens, why are we in such an uproar? If it was OK for President Obama to kill American citizens in the fall of 2011 how can we object about the crown prince? The CIA had a kill list of other American citizens and Obama had the authority to kill any citizen he deemed necessary without a jury trial. Why is the media silent about this? —Truth Be Told

I see the IRS sentenced a pizza shop owner for being a criminal for not paying his taxes. I wonder if they’re going to go after our illustrious President Trump since he doesn’t pay his taxes either.

I saw Meek Mill on the “Ellen Show” on Wednesday. Give me a break. He’s still crying about being locked up. The man violated parole. That’s what happens when you screw up. He should still be locked up. Next channel.

I see now that it turns out that Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, lied to both the FBI and investigators for the special counsel even after agreeing to a plea bargain with them. Talk about draining the swamp. May be one of the Donald’s favorite boys. —One Who Knows

Thank you to the guys and girls at the movie theater next to Target. I go on a Tuesday for $5 and every time I’m not prepared as to what movie to see they always give me suggestions. They are the best. Thank you again guys and girls.

Fourteen thousand General Motors employees losing their jobs for Christmas. Kmart stores closing, Sears Department stores closing. Donald, Donald, Donald, you’re in over your head buddy.

In regards to the unruly students at the Pottstown Middle School, I totally

agree with the caller who said “Where are the parents?” This has been an ongoing problem for a while so no one can say they don’t know about it. Where are the parents that they allow these children to carry on like this? Boy, I can tell you one thing, when I was in that school that wouldn’t have happened. Times sure have changed.

To Bob Not From Mont Clare, I guess everybody gets a participation trophy too, don’t they? Poor darlings.

With the holiday season upon us I propose that we ban all political statements for one month from Dec. 1 through Jan. 1 in Sound Off even if that means suspending Sound Off for one month.

Congratulations to Sharon of the Pottstown Hospital Seniority Club for a wonderful holiday celebration. All the food was delicious,

her ambassadors did a great job and everyone had a marvelous time. Thank you again for a very delightful afternoon.

Keep America Free said that it should be OK for Trump to collude with Russia. That means you would not care if Hillary Clinton colluded with Russia and won the election. What’s good for the goose. Collusion is a secret agreement by deceiving, misleading or defrauding others. You can certainly be charged with conspiring to violate the election laws of the United States. —Clark S. Kent

In regard to crank calls and robo calls, the Do Not Call list is a joke. The phone companies don’t want to enforce this because they are making a ton of money from these callers that keep calling and hounding us. Like I say, Do Not Call is a joke.

I see Boyertown just approved spending millions of dollars to build a new brick and mortar stadium. Why do they need that? Open air bleachers would work fine. Most schools have open air bleachers and they still have a good sports program. Save the taxpayers money. OJR is in the habit of building new schools. Now the next thing OJR will want is a brick and mortar stadium. Stop spending the taxpayers’ money on foolish stuff like that. —CK

Hatred destroys the person who carries it. Most times attitudes change at least a little during this season. I hope to see that this year. The anger and hatred shows throughout our society. You can’t blame one person for that. We all control how we react. If we all try to bring a smile and joy to our peace in the world it does make a difference. Please enjoy the holidays, your family and friends and our blessings. —Lady Di

The scientists are smart enough to land a spacecraft on Mars but they’re not smart enough to predict climate change? —Jay Miller

To the caller who wondered why they didn’t see any snowmen after the last snowfall, it’s easy. Kids today are lazy. You can’t build one on the computer from inside the house and they can’t be purchased from eBay or Amazon. How sad. —Jim Fitch
