David C. Bailey, 63, of Douglassville

David C. Bailey, 63, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Lankenau Medical Center.

David resided with his sister, Elva, and his brother-in-law, Joe, in Douglassville, PA, for the last eighteen years.

Born on December 25, 1954, in Pottstown, PA, David was the son of the late Lewis Thomas Bailey and Elva Mae (Frain) Bailey.

David enjoyed listening to the Phillies on the radio. He loved predicting the weather and his friends and family said he should have been a weatherman. He liked to collect watches and

anything mechanical. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal; three sisters, Carolyn Lawler, wife of Mark, Pottstown, PA; Kay Lazowicki, wife of Ray, Pottstown, PA; and Elva Cioa, wife of Joseph, Douglassville, PA; one brother, Richard Bailey, husband of Diane, Pottstown, PA; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and greatnephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
