Eastwood Summer Classic Car Show to return to Pottstown
POTTSTOWN >> Engines will roar into Pottstown, as hundreds of collector cars come out for the 2019 Eastwood Summer Classic Car Show, Swap Meet & Community Day, on Saturday, July, 27.
The Summer Classic, now in its 9th year, is hosted by Potts town head quartered automotive tool company, Eastwood. What started as a car show to celebrate Eastwood’s local customers and their vehicles, has grown into one of the largest events in the region, drawing vehicles from all over the east coast vying for a trophy.
This year’s event will benefit the Olivet Boys & Girls Club in Pottstown. “The Summer Classic’s success over the years has been due to the community involvement, said Ed Martel, Eastwood’s Senior Director of Retail. Whether you have a classic car or are just looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon, this year’s event will offer fun for the whole family.”
The car show and swap meet kick-off at 7:30 a.m., and run until 3:00 p.m. Automotive television personality, Kevin Tetz, will be in attendance, hosting free tech sessions on Eastwood’s products. In addition, Eastwood’s tech team will be able available to answer any of your automotive questions. There will also be live music by Second Time Thru, virtual reality racing, running of a WWII aircraft engine, food trucks, children’s games, a beer garden hosted by Sly Fox Brewing Company, door prizes and raffle items, the chance to enter to win a 1969 Camaro and tons of deals on Eastwood products.
“We expect a record number of cars, trucks and motorcycles to attend this year, so we have expanded the footprint of the event and increased the number of goodie bags given out to the first 500 cars, said Ed Martel. New for 2019 is ‘club-level parking’, which provides space for car clubs to park together and set up tents.”
The Summer Classic will be hosted at Eastwood’s headquarters located at 263 Shoemaker Road, Pottstown, PA, 19464. For complete information on the 2019 Eastwood Summer Classic, visit: https://www.eastwood. com/2019summerclassic
