St. Paul’s UCC
Pottstown — The Consistory of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, will meet on Sunday, October 13, following the 9:00 a.m. worship service. Also on Sunday, members of the congregation will be participating in the Crop Walk, meeting at First Presbyterian Church at 1:45 p.m. Members of St. Paul’s will be preparing and serving the Community Meal at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Pottstown — The Annual Family Style Ham Supper is Saturday, Oct. 12, from 4-7 pm at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. Meal includes Ham, Homemade Potato Filling, Green Beans, Corn, Applesauce, Pepper Cabbage, Rolls, Homemade Desserts and a Beverage. Adults are $12, Children 5-12 $5, Children 4 and Under Free. Take Out Dinners Available. Tickets sold at the door. Zion’s welcomes Kim Adamson as guest pastor at the 10:15 am Sunday Worship service. Supply organist will be Norm Taylor. St. John’s UCC
Pottstown — St. John’s UCC, 11 S. Price St., Pottstown, welcomes Rev. Judy Miller to the pulpit as guest pastor on Sunday. Members of St. John’s will be participating in the annual CROP Walk on Sunday, and St. John’s will serve as the first stop serving snacks and beverages. Plans are underway for St. John’s to participate in the upcoming Pottstown Halloween Parade on Oct. 22. The Congregation continues to collect food for Operation 143 (formerly Operation BackPack) under the direction of the Mission Committee.
St. Peter’s Lutheran
Pottstown — St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 564 Glasgow St., will hold its All-You-CanEat Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner, Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4-7 p.m. Adults $8 Children $5. The dinner includes a salad with choice of dressing, bread & butter, and choice of dessert. Proceeds to benefit the Capital Campaign.
Trinity UCC
Pottstown — Members and friends of Trinity UCC, 60 N. Hanover St., will gather at 9:30 AM this Sunday for morning worship. Adult Sunday School begins at 8:30. We are planning several events for youth this fall: a costume party, a movie night, and an Advent workshop. If you would like to be a part of planning these events, or would just like to help, see Pastor Nichole and Kate Hoffman after church this week. Refreshments will be served after worship.

Boyertown — Children are welcome to wear Halloween costumes and “Trunk or Treat” around church parking lot from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19. Church is located at 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown. Youth Group will meet after 10:45-11:45 Sunday School for lunch at Coventry Parlor and then volunteer at the Veteran’s Center in Spring City to play board games with the residents from 1:30 to 3:00 PM.

Coventryville UMC
Pottstown — Coventryville United Methodist Church Our Thrift Shop will be open Saturday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Sunday’s services are at 9:30 AM (contemporary) and 11:00 AM (traditional) with the Adult Choir. Nursery care starts at 9:30 AM along with Sunday School for all ages. After-Church Fellowship begins at noon. Come network and enjoy some great food and conversation. On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the OWLS women’s group will hold its monthly meeting at 10:00 AM. Limerick — The annual “Apple Festival” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. An “Apple Streusel Pancake Breakfast” will be served until 10 a.m. Basket raffles, a silent auction, children’s games, tractor rides, a bake table, tractor rides, vendors, and fire and police demos will be part of the event. ‘Journey through Grief’
Gilbertsville — A six-week seminar for grievers and facilitated by trained counselor will be held from Oct. 15 to Nov. 19, from 7-8:30 pm at Catagnus Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Gilbertsville. Registration required (as this is for small groups) but there is no charge to participate.

Pottstown — The Annual Fall Bazaar will be held at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 1236 Juniper St., on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 am to 2 pm. Customers will be able to purchase pierogies, either potato or sauerkraut; halupki (stuffed cabbage); halushki (buttered noodles and cabbage); potato pancakes, kielbasa, and various nut rolls, all made from authentic Slavic recipes.
