Velez hits career-high 25 in Boone win

DANIEL BOONE 45, HAMBURG 44 >> Allyson Velez tied a career-high with 25 points to help the Blazers down the Hawks in Berks Conference play Monday.
Velez scored 10 of her team’s 12 points in the fourth quarter after Hamburg had limited Daniel Boone to six points in the third quarter to take a onepoint lead.
POPE JOHN PAUL II 57, UPPER MERION 20 >> Tess Crossan nearly finished with a triple double as the Golden Panthers cruised to a PAC Frontier win Monday.
Crossan finished with nine points, 11 Rebounds and eight assists in the win. Haley Jackson led PJP with 10 points and added 10 rebounds. Kayla Viney chipped in eight steals in the victory.
SOUDERTON 51, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 38 >> Naiya Daisey had 14 points as the Vikings dropped Monday’s non-league contest. Grace Ramsey added eight points in the loss.
Jordan Zimmerman led Souderton with 19 points, including three triples, and Olivia Schneider added 15 points.
BARRACK AC. 46, PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 31 >> Perkiomen School lost to Barrack Academy on Monday, 4631. Chardae Stone scored 12 points.

SOUDERTON 33 >> Tyler Lapetina’s PV points guided PV to a non-league victory Monday.
The Vikings trailed 30-28 entering the fourth quarter, but locked down defensively in the fourth, holding Souderton to three points in the final eight minutes.
Kameron Parks added 11 for PV.
EXETER 56, DANIEL BOONE 34 >> Matt Davidheiser scored 21 points to lead the Eagles past the Blazers in Berks Conference play Monday.
Tyler Goldsborough had 10 points for Exeter, which led 27-12 at the half. Logan Hinkle scored 15 points for Boone.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 63, PHOENIXVILLE 12 >> The Patriots rode flurry of pins and forfeits to victory over the Phantoms in Monday’s non-league match.
The bulk of East’s points came off five falls and three forfeits, which contributed to it opening with 39 unanswered points. David Polanki scored a pin at 182 to lead Phoenixville, with Angelo Franzone and Anthony Stevenson adding decisions in their respective 152- and 170-pound bouts.
PERK SCHOOL SWEEPS >> The Perkiomen School girls (8257) and boys (121-39) won their meets against Barrack Hebrew Academy on Monday.
Dustin Wheeler won four events for the Panthers, taking first in the 200 medley relay, 50 free, 100 back and 400 free relay.
