POTTSTOWN 42, UPPER MERION 32 » Pins from Bobby Richards (170), Josiah Wiggins (182) and Zack Griffin (195) and four forfeits allowed the Trojans to open a 42-0 lead and defeat the Vikings in a PAC Frontier match Wednesday.

Upper Merion owned the second half of the dual including pins from Collin Power (120), Miguel Amor (138) and Sean Williams (145).

OWEN J. ROBERTS 59, NORRISTOWN 24 » Tied 18-18, a forfeit, pin from Joshua Jackson (120) and technical fall from Matthew Engelhardt (126) surged the Wildcats in front in a PAC Liberty win over the Eagles Wednesday.

OJR extended its lead late on pins from Connor Leister (138), Jacob Dunleavy (145) and Cole Bechtel (160). Tommy Dempsey (182) and Jaden Viti (220) also had pins for the Wildcats. Norristown wins came from Chris Carter (pin at 195), Tijear Brittingha­m (pin at 285) and Isaiah Tucker (injury default at 132). Spring-Ford pins came from John Kaputa (285), Quinn Smith (120), Zach Needles (138), Alex Johns (145), Jack McGill (152), Jason Lepore (170), Joey Milano (182) and Gavin Hartman (195). Louis Carbajal (220), Quinn Tobin (132) and Xavier Cushman (SF) were major-decision winners.

Boyertown’s wins came from Jay Maldonado (tech fall at 113) and Chance Babb (pin at 126).

UPPER PERKIOMEN 48, POTTSGROVE 24 » Upper Perk pins in four of the first seven matches set the table for a PAC Frontier win over the Falcons Wednesday.

The first-half pins came from Matt Martin (113), Joey Carpenter (126), Mike Milkowich (132) and Gavin Marks (145) helped the Tribe open a 33-3 lead. Other UP pins came from Tommy Flud (170) and Austin DiDomenico (182). Avery Shivak (195) had a pin for Pottsgrove. PHOENIXVIL­LE 49, POPE JOHN PAUL II 21 » In Wednesday’s forfeit-filled Senior Night match, the Phantoms came away with the PAC Frontier Division victory though the undermanne­d Golden Panthers had a 15-14 edge in contested bouts.

David Polanki’s pin at 182, coupled with major decisions by Anthony Stevenson (170) and Roman Ciavarelli (195), were the highlights for Phoenixvil­le as it accepted six forfeits. PJP was headed by falls from Nick Tongo (113) and Matt Vulakh (126), with Blake Fisher gritting out a 2-0 overtime victory at 285.

PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 81, WEST NOTTINGHAM 79 » Steve Payne’s driving layup with 3.5 seconds left gave the Panthers a win in Wednesday’s Great Atlantic Conference game.

After falling behind 26-8 to start the game, Perkiomen cut it to five points (41-36) at the half, and the second half went back and forth between both teams. Payne led Perkiomen with 18 points, Honor Huff had 17, Andrew Patnode chipped in with 13 and Philip Byriel and Gilbert Otoo each added nine points.

HILL SCHOOL 66, ACADEMY OF THE NEW CHURCH 26 » The Blues had 10 different scorers in Wednesday’s nonleague win over ANC.

Junior Cynthia Williams led the way with 22 points followed by sophomore Aine Farrell, who scored 12. Junior Colleen Quinn tallied nine points, including a pair of threes, and senior Jana Williams added four points and six rebounds in the victory.

Hill will host Blair Academy in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League contest 5 p.m. Friday.
