Sheetz to offer Grubhub delivery

ALTOONA » Sheetz and Grubhub on Monday announced a new partnershi­p to provide delivery from 390 Sheetz stores across six states.

Through Grubhub’s online and mobile food-ordering platform, customers can order from a variety of Sheetz’s signature Madeto-Order menu items and Sheetz Brothers Coffee and have it delivered. Participat­ing store locations near you can be found at Grubhub.com or on the mobile app.

To recognize the new partnershi­p, Sheetz and Grubhub are offering free delivery on orders over $10 (before tax, tip, and fees), from April 20 until Sunday, April 26 at participat­ing locations.

“Grubhub delivery allows Sheetz to continue to give customers what they want, when they want it but from the safety and comfort of their homes,” Travis Sheetz, president & COO of Sheetz Inc., said in a press release. “We will continue to innovate to serve our customers in these uncertain times as we all join together to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

For the safety of its customers and drivers, Grubhub offers customers a contact-free delivery at checkout. Drivers can call and/or text the customers when they arrive and drop off their orders on the doorstep, in the lobby or in another area designated by the customer. The option is available at Grubhub. com and on the mobile app.

Headquarte­red in Altoona, Sheetz Inc. is a family-owned and operated convenienc­e store chain that operates in Pennsylvan­ia, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and North Carolina. The company has stores in Berks and Lancaster counties, but does not operate in Chester, Montgomery or Delaware counties.
