Montco reports 5 more deaths
County sees 93 additional COVID-19 cases
NORRISTOWN » Montgomery County officials and the Office of Public Health Saturday reported 93 additional individuals who tested positive and five individuals who died of COVID-19, bringing the countywide total to 3,474 cases and 194 deaths.
“We continue to report a steady number of individuals testing positive for COVID-19, which reinforces the continued need to stay at home except for essential work and essential errands,” said Dr. Valerie A. Arkoosh, chairwoman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners. “I am also saddened to report the deaths of five individuals.”
Of the five individuals who died of COVID-19, three had been hospitalized, two resided in longterm care facilities, and their ages ranged from 40-years-old to 90-yearsold. Of those individuals, two were female and three were male.
The 93 positive individuals are from 27 municipalities. Sixty-one municipalities have been affected.

Montgomery County’s drive-through COVID-19 testing location on the Central Campus of Montgomery
County Community College in Blue Bell will be closed on Sunday, April 26, for a safety stand down.
The testing site will reopen for the week on Monday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment only for individuals that meet the required criteria and as testing supplies allow. No treatment will be given on-site.
