METHACTON2,UPPERPERKI­OMEN 1 » In a PAC game marked by close statistics, the Warriors edged the Indians Saturday.

Quinton Stimler had one of Methacton’s goals while Cole Kendra did UP’s scoring by converting a penalty kick. The Warriors had a 9-8 edge in shots on goal and recorded eight saves to UP’s seven.

DANIEL BOONE 2, TWIN VALLEY 0 » Justin Fetrow and Chad Brown scored firsthalf goals and the Blazers stayed undefeated by knocking off the Raiders (1-3, 2-3).

Logan Krause was credited with an assist for Boone (3-0, 5-0), and goalkeeper Zach Fick needed to make just three saves to secure the clean sheet. UPPER BUCKS CHRISTIAN 2, WEST-MONT CHRISTIAN 1» Ezra Fegan set up Sam Landis for a goal but it was the only scoring the Wings could muster. West-Mont fell to 6-3.

BOYERTOWN 1, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 0 » A secondhalf goal was all the Bears needed to outlast the Vikings in Saturday’s PAC contest.

Emma Beidler scored at the 2:30mark of the second to lift Boyertown, which outshot (15-7) and outcornere­d (11-7) PV. SamGoffice got credit for the assist, and Ashlyn Crawford needed to make just two saves in goal to get the clean sheet while the Vikes’ Riley Hill had six saves.

METHACTON2, OWENJ ROBERTS 2 (2OT) » The Warriors and Wildcats shared the points in their respective season openers Friday.

Methacton senior Julia McCann opened the scoring in the 10thminute, cleaning up a rebound from a freshman Aubrey Beaugard shot.

OJR’s Alexa Vogelman scored in the 19th minute from a Sarah Kopec assist.

Caligh Bold scored unassisted in the 29th minute on a loose ball in the box to give OJR the lead.

Beaugard scored her first varsity goal for Methacton to tie the game in the 46th minute, on an assist from McCann. Sophomore Goalkeeper Mairi Smith made 12 saves while SamHughes fromOJR made 5.

DANIEL BOONE 6, TWIN VALLEY1 » Lily Ferguson scored twice, Nicole Brown had a goal andtwo assists andthe Blazers maintained their unbeaten status Saturday by romping over the Raiders.

aggie Holloway (one assist), Gabby Fontana and Kayla Vitabile also had goals for Boone (3-0, 5-0). Ferguson, Nylah Cody and Alexandria Grooms were also credited with assists for the Blazers, who got four-save goaltendin­g from Jenna Heasley.

UP (2-0) led 3-1 at half while getting a goal and an assist from Kylene Gooch and Sydney Crossin. Luci Carpenter hadthree assists. Rounding out the scoring was Audrey Nagata and Takoda Wells. FLEETWOOD 4, DANIEL BOONE 1 » Lauren Kaba accounted for the Blazers’ lone goal Friday in their Berks League loss to the Tigers.

Ashley Finkbiner made 11 saves in goal for Boone, which had just three shots on goal and three corners on the day.

Quinn Smith finished a solid first for the Rams in their PAC meet with the Vikings Friday.

Smith covered his home course in16;07, more than15 seconds ahead of PV leader Kiburu Brown (16;24). Liam Baker was third for SpringFord (16:29) ahead of the Vikes’ Tom Bricker (16:35).

UPPER PERKIOMEN 15, POTTSGROVE 50 »

Donnie Miller was the race’s undisputed winner, leading the Indians past the Falcons in Friday’s PAC meet.

Miller clocked a 17:17 to finish well ahead of second-place teammate Blandin Conklin (17;48). UP swept the first five spots while Pottsgrove’ first finisher was Brendan Vaughn (19:03).

PERKIOMEN VALLEY 15, SPRING-FORD 50 » Sienna Miller headed the Vikes’ near-sweep of the first 10 places during Friday’s PAC meet with the Rams.

Miller ran an 18:16 while teammate Summer Watts was second (18:53). Brooke Donoghue was SpringFord’s lone runner to crack the Top 10, placing ninth in 21:53. UPPERPERKI­OMEN26,POTTSGROVE 31 » While Naomi Hillen and Natalia Curley were the race’s top two runners, the Indians claimed six of the next eight spots to nail down the victory in Friday’s PAC meet with the Falcons.

Hillen left the rest of the field far behind, her 20:31 clocking almost two minutes ahead of Curley (22:23). But UP went 3-4-5-6 with Lauren Donahue leading the way at 23:21. METHACTON1­5, UPPERMERIO­N 50 » The Warriors fell just short of sweeping the first 10spots inFriday’s PAC meet with the Vikings.

Molly Thomas was the race winner, her 20:11 finish a full minute ahead of teammate Devon Peteri (21:11). UM’s Kellen Wood prevented the Methacton sweep by placing 10th in 24:31.

Luke Fazio and Garrett Wisle shared lowman honors for the Rams in Friday’s PAC match with the Bears at Hickory Valley.

Fazio andWisle both shot 39s, the match’s lone sub40 cardings. The remainder of Spring-Ford’s top finishers (Luke Watson 40, Jake Blackmore 41, Joe Niblick 42) all scored ahead of Boyertown’s Top Five, all of whom posted identical 46s.

SPRING-FORD 7, PHOENIXVIL­LE0» TheRams dropped just four games throughout the lineup on the way to a PAC victory over the Phantoms Friday.

Spring-Ford’s singles trio of Mia Matriccino, Isabel Mejia and Cady Krause was perfect in its matches, all winning 6-0, 6-0. Phoenixvil­le’s best individual effort came at fourth doubles, where Peyton McDonnell and Rosa Gerner won two games. METHACTON7,UPPERPERKI­OMEN 0 » The Warriors scored straight-set wins throughout the lineup in Friday’s PAC sweep of the Indians.

Hana Nouaime was Methacton’s top player, going 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Phoenixvil­le’s best individual effort came in doubles play, Sara Andrasak/ Cassidy Bush (second) and Emma Jago/Mady Frantz (fourth) each winning four games.

PERKIOMEN VALLEY 7, BOYERTOWN 0 » Smiki Satrusalya and Rachel Koenig headed the Vikings’ PAC shutout of theBears Friday. The Satrusalya/Koenig team posted the day’s lone 6-0, 6-0 finish at second doubles. Boyertown’s best individual showing came at first singles, Kara Bussinger extending Gracie Strohecker to a tiebreaker 6-4, 7-6 (7).

CONESTOGAV­ALLEY 3, DANIEL BOONE 0 » Conestoga Valley won Friday’s nomleague match with the Blazers by set scores of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-23.

For Boone, Aubrey Hunt had nine kills while Ashley Kriebel scored four kills, 12 digs and two aces.

UPPER BUCKS CHRISTIAN 3, WEST-MONT CHRISTIAN 0 » The Wings were swept by set scores of 25-11, 25-10 and 25-11.
