PMA Medical Specialists welcomes new rheumatologist

PMA Medical Specialists has announced that Dr. Robert A. Kimelheim has joined the growing multi-specialty medical group.

Kimelheim earned his master’s degree in physiology from Temple UniversityHospital. He attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, did his internal medicine residency at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Va., and did his fellowship training at Temple University Hospital.

“I strive to convey a very personal message to my patients— it’s all about you, and you are the reason I amhere,” Kimelheim said. “If you’re going to take time out of your day to come see me, I am going to give you all I’ve got.

“Patients are individuals with specific needs, each with a different story, told in their own unique way.

The nature of the rheumatologist is to be a good listener and take the clues given and begin the search for answers.”

“We are excited to have Dr. Kimelheim join our practice,” said Dr. Matthew B. Naegle, PMA rheumatologist and board member. “His expertise in the early diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, osteoporosis, musculoskeletal pain and autoimmune disorders make him well positioned to direct our Pottstown Rheumatology Office.”

Kimelheim is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology and internal medicine and received his fellowship and internal medicine residency from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. He remains as passionate today as he did at the beginning of his career, and is currently accepting new patients at PMA Pottstown
