All three priests St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Exeter Township have tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the closing of the parish office and the cancellation of daily Masses.

Weekend masses at St. Catharine of Siena and St. Mary Church will go on as normally scheduled, led by visiting priests.

Daily Masses are canceled through Tuesday.

The news was announced Wednesday by St. Catharine of Siena pastor Monsignor Edward Domin on the parish’s Facebook page.

Domin wrote that he, Father Zachary Wehr and Monsignor James A. Treston, as well as a staff member of the parish office have all tested positive for COVID-19.

“Father Wehr, Monsignor Treston and I, first of all, want to thank you for the many notes, prayers and well-wishes we have received from our St. Catharine of Siena Parish family,” Domin wrote. “We truly appreciate it.”

Domin continued his message by assuring parishioners that proper health and safety protocols are being followed in the parish.

“Please be assured that we have been following all guidelines from the (U.S.) Centers for Disease Control (and Prevention) on sanitizing the churches and, as you know, we have social distancing and other protocols in place in the church,” he wrote.
