Trump a ‘false prophet’ who fooled 73 million voters

As I drove through rural northern Berks and Montgomery counties this afternoon, I saw hundreds of Trump signs and flags still flying, in front of farms, modest homes, and small businesses. As someone who voted for Biden, I ask that you hear me out.

I know you. As a family doctor in Northern Chester County for 40 years, I know that the overwhelming majority of you are not racists or white supremacists. You are hard-working, salt-ofthe-earth folks, who pay your bills, work long hours to support your families, and wouldn’t hesitate to help a stranger change a tire, or bring food to a sick neighbor. And obviously, you are very loyal to President Trump.

But I have to tell you, that the sentiment is not mutual. Because behind the campaign rhetoric, he has nothing but disdain for you. Are you a religious person who believes strongly in the right to life? Then ask yourself, does Trump know his Bible? Are there any of the Ten Commandments which he hasn’t repeatedly trashed? Of course we are all sinners, but has he ever apologized or even admitted that he was wrong? Isn’t that necessary for someone to ask redemption? And please ask yourself: if any of the dozens of starlets and porn stars he slept with became pregnant, do you doubt for one minute that he would have forced them to have an abortion?

To you farmers, do you think he ever planted a seed, grew a garden, or wielded a shovel, (except for ceremonial purposes, in front of cameras?) To you military people and veterans, do you know he calls you losers behind your backs; that as a rich kid he dodged the draft with the phony excuse of a heel spur (five times!) To you tradesmen, do you think he ever drove a nail, plunged a toilet or fixed a leaky faucet? Do you know that he stiffed thousands of carpenters, plumbers, steamfitters, electricians and masons while building his luxury hotels and casinos? That he forced them to accept much less than their contracts because they couldn’t afford lawsuits against his team of million-dollar lawyers?

Sadly, Trump is a false prophet who has nothing but disdain for the 73 million good people who voted for him. His only loyalty is to himself, and to the circle of crooks who he is now pardoning for perjuring themselves in front of Congress and the FBI.
