Clayton F. Dilliplaine
Clayton F. Dilliplaine, 91, of Lower Pottsgrove, PA, passed away on December 15, 2020, at Manatawny Manor. He was the husband of the late Betty L. (Strunk) Dilliplaine, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Pottstown, PA, on December 22, 1928, Clayton was the son of the late Clayton and Mabel (Ziegler)
Dilliplaine.
Clayton served in the Army from February 25, 1946 to May 4, 1947; he was stationed in northern Japan with the 11thAirborne and 187th Glider Infantry Regiment. He guarded military installations and checked P.O.W. Camps, which earned him a WWII Victory Medal.
Clayton enjoyed traveling to various places in the U.S. and Canada, but especially loved visiting Branson, MO, and taking road trips to Lancaster, PA. He spent time hunting and fishing, and adored the special moments he shared with his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, David Dilliplaine, Lower Pottsgrove, PA; his daughters, Colleen Rubright, wife of the late Wayne, Reading, PA, Susan Hohl, wife of Ralph, TN, Rita Myers, Reading, PA, and Barbara Lombardi, wife of Dominic, Frenchville, PA; his brothers, Rodney Dilliplaine, husband of Betty, OR and Dennis Dilliplaine, Norristown, PA; and eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Clayton is predeceased by his siblings, Henry Dilliplaine, James Dilliplaine, Sidney Dilliplaine, Glenna Christman, and Mary Dulisse; his grandson, Jerimy Kehler; and his great-grandson, Dustin Jensen.

A graveside service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 E. Arcadia Dr., Limerick, PA 19468.
