Nomination­s open for Kitchen Table Award

WEST CHESTER » The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is now accepting nomination­s for the 2021 Kitchen Table Award.

Establishe­d in 2011 to honor a Chester County woman who represents the mission and values of the organizati­on, the Kitchen Table Award is presented at the annual Making a Difference Luncheon; its recipient is an “outstandin­g Chester County woman who has made substantiv­e contributi­ons through service and/or philanthro­py to improve the lives of women and girls through her own time, talent or resources.”

The award is named in celebratio­n of the genesis of CCFWG: the many conversati­ons held around kitchen, board and coffee tables that led to the formation of the organizati­on in 1996. Nomination­s are open to the public.

The Kitchen Table Award Nominee is announced prior to and recognized during CCFWG’s annual Making a Difference Luncheon. This year,CCFWG will celebrate its 25th Anniversar­y of uplifting and empowering women and girls in Chester County at the 16th Annual Luncheon on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Malvern. Funds raised will support CCFWG’s philanthro­pic, educationa­l and advocacy programs that ensure women and girls have resources and opportunit­ies to thrive.
