NORRISTOWN » A Norristown man has been arrested by Philadelphia police for armed robbery and other offenses committed in Norristown.

Shortly after 3 p.m. on Dec. 28, Norristown Police Officers responded to a report of an armed subject, who had just fired off several shots, in the 400 block of West Marshall St. According to a police report, upon arrival, officers were directed by several people to the area of 417 W. Marshall St., where they recovered 11 spent 9 mm shell casings. Witnesses then told officers that the individual that fired the gun was the same individual that officers had been dealing with from a prior disturbance.

While investigating the incident of the shots fired, officers became aware of another incident, roughly two blocks away, in the 600 block of Corson Street, where the victim was reporting that he was robbed of his car at gun point. The victim explained to Officer Joshua Samuels, that he was held at gun point and his car was taken by a male, who matched the description of Kalin Little. The victim explained that as he was sitting in his car he heard what sounded like a large number of gun shots. A short time later, he observed a man he later positively identified as Kalin Little, 22, running out of Blackberry Alley, onto Corson Street. The victim said that Little had seen him sitting in his car and ran to his car door, opened the driver’s door and pointed a handgun at the victim’s face. The victim noted that Little told him, “Get out of the car”, “I need the car”, and “Give me the car”. After the victim fled from his vehicle, Little entered the vehicle and drove down Corson Street at a high rate of speed.
