POTTSTOWN — Members and friends of Trinity UCC, 60 N. Hanover Street will observe the 2nd Sunday of Christmas with Holy Communion. The service will be broadcast live on YouTube and Trinity’s Facebook page at 9:30 AM. During the service, members of the 2021 Consistory will be ordained and installed. Kim Sheeler will be ordained as an Elder. Marlene Armato and Ann Wagner will be installed as Elders. Susan Carter, Heather Dicky and Lynn Hums will be installed as Deacons, and Tom Hoffman and Gerry Messer will be installed as Trustees. Trinity will serve a free take-away meal at 5 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021. Access to the meal will be from the parking lot at the rear of the building. St. John’s UCC

POTTSTOWN — St. John’s UCC in Pottstown continues to celebrate the Christmas season during worship at 10:15 am. The service will be held in-person with masks being mandatory and seating arranged to meet social distancing guidelines. The service will also be available for viewing on YouTube. The congregati­on is once again collecting food items for Operation 143 and as well as for our Little Pantry which serves community members in need. BARTO — Worship services at Christ Lutheran Church have been canceled for this Sunday, Jan. 3. Confirmati­on class will have their class at 10:15 a.m. via Zoom in their homes. Committee and Staff reports for the 2020 Annual Report are due in to the church office by Monday, Jan. 4. There will be a special Council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m. in the Welcome Center.
