Nancy J. Snyder

Nancy J. (Fegley) Snyder, 87, wife of Laverne “Duke” Snyder, passed away peacefully at her home in Boyertown surrounded by family on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Born in Boyertown, Nancy was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Eddinger) Fegley.

Nancy along with her husband Duke were coowners of the Grill Shop in Boyertown for over 15 years. She loved spending time with family and friends at their beach house in Brigantine, NJ. Nancy was a competitive card player, an avid Parcheesi rival and she savored solving challenging jigsaw puzzles. She had an uncanny knowledge of local history, people and places and she thoroughly enjoyed sharing those stories of bygone days. Nancy collected a wide variety of crafts and always looked forward to decorating for every holiday. She loved her pets and all dogs that made her acquaintance.

Nancy is survived by her husband Duke of 65 years and her devoted daughter Denise Loeper. Denise and her husband Tom are residents of Frederick, MD.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00AM at Fairview cemetery in Boyertown, with Rev. Dr. Robert Machamer Jr. officiating. Friends and family are invited.
