DANIEL BOONE 16, SCHUYLKILL VALLEY 1 » Dalton Cymbalski and Jamie Pence combined for a four-inning no-hitter in the Blazers’ win Monday.

Cymbalski walked four and struck out four in the first three innings before Pence struck out two of the three batters he faced in the fourth.

At the plate Boone collected 14 hits, including eight for extra bases. Mason Walter went 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI. Zach Scherzer added three hits, including two doubles and two RBI. Krystian Hornberger added two hits and Mike Gregos, Tyler McKinney, and Jack Fisher all doubled for the Blazers.

Jack Hummel tallied eight kills and Ian Wright 23 assists in the win.

PV got 6-0, 6-0 outings from Aaron Fry at first singles, and its doubles teams of Jeremy Hadler/ Henry Ye, Evan Butler/Eli Volcskso and Nick Russo/Ricardo Spadea. UP’s best individual effort came at fourth doubles, where Elias Brendle and Henry Queeney extended the Vikes’ Justin Tagert/ Alex Turley duo to three sets, one a 7-5 tiebreaker. PHOENIXVIL­LE 7, POPE JOHN PAUL II 0 » The Phantoms dropped just five games in the doubles bracket on the way to Tuesday’s PAC victory over the Golden Panthers.

Phoenixvil­le was led by 6-0, 6-0 verdicts from Dylan Gehris/ Dylan Eliasson at second doubles and Brendan Flick/Luca Eaton at fourth doubles. PJP’s best showing came at second singles, where J.T. Collins extended Nico Rambla to three sets.
