CBRE has been retained as the exclusive leasing agent for Spring House Innovation Park (SHIP), a 133-acre multi-tenant life sciences campus located along the Pennsylvania Turnpike Corridor at 727 Norristown Road in Spring House, Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County.
The property is owned by MRA Group, an experienced life sciences developer based in Horsham, and Beacon Capital Partners, a leading real estate investor, developer and manager. MRA Group acquired the former Rohm and Haas campus in 2017 and has successfully transformed it into a multi-tenant life sciences campus.
Spring House Innovation Park is comprised of 14 buildings totaling approximately 600,000 – square-feet of existing laboratories, state-of-the-art research and development facilities, and Class A office space. The campus is occupied by an array of tenants including AgroFresh, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, ChromoTan Corporation, The Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing, Keystone Specialty Chemicals, and AnPac Bio, among others.
As part of their new partnership, MRA Group and Beacon have committed to expanding the vision of this life sciences campus by investing significant capital into new on-campus amenities and upgraded state-of-the-art lab facilities. Spring House Innovation Park currently has various lease availabilities, most notably +/-94,200-square-feet of lab space in Building 14 (Q1 2022 delivery), +/- 75,000-square-feet of lab space in Building 2 (Q4 2021 delivery) and +/-26,000-square-feet of lab space in Building 5 (Q4 2021 delivery). Additionally, the campus has future lab facilities and buildto-suit opportunities.
A CBRE team of Paul Touhey, Matthew Knowles, Cody Lehrer and Anthony Pell will spearhead the marketing and leasing campaign on behalf of ownership.
“Spring House Innovation Park is the premier life sciences campus in the Philadelphia suburbs and CBRE is excited to partner with MRA Group and Beacon to take an already spectacular development to even higher levels,” Touhey said in a press release.
“Spring House caters to companies of all shapes and sizes in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors, and we are continuing down the path of MRA Group and Beacon’s commitment to develop research-focused facilities,” Pell added in the release.
