Warriors rally past OJR in 7th

METHACTON 4, OWEN J. ROBERTS 2 >> The Warriors plated three runs in the top of the seventh inning to walk away with a PAC Liberty win Tuesday.

Trailing 2-1, Avery Schwartz started the top of the seventh with triple before Caraline Newman knocked her in. Methacton pitcher Paige Deal, who allowed two runs on six hits in a complete game, followed with an RBI double two batters later to give Methacton the lead.

Deal was 2-for-4 with two RBI for the Warriors, and Serena Goodridge went 2-for-3. Emma DiBattista and Natalie Alldred, who tossed six innings for OJR, both tallied a pair of hits for the Wildcats.

LANSDALE CATHOLIC 10, PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 0 >> After three rainouts, the Panthers finally got on the field for their first game of the season Tuesday.

Claudia Knowles pitched the whole game for Perkiomen, tallying 10 strikeouts, and Kenna Tobin had the lone hit for Perkiomen, catching a solid game behind the plate in their first varsity games. Shortstop Kaia Glacken and first base Anya Crapo played solid defensive games.

PHOENIXVIL­LE 11, POTTSGROVE 2 >>

Mike Memmo ‘s big day at the plate buoyed the Phantoms in a PAC Frontier win over the Falcons on Tuesday.

The Phantoms had just five hits but walked 20 times in the game. Memmo had three of his team’s hits, including a double, and drove in four runs.

Drew Kingsbury picked up the win for Phoenixvil­le with five strong innings, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out seven. Avery Schwartz tossed two shutout innings of relief, striking out four.

Avery Spencer had a two-hit day for Pottsgrove. UPPER PERKIOMEN 16, POTTSTOWN 6 >> Four UP players had multi-hit

days in Tuesday’s PAC Frontier win over the Trojans.

Dalton Dunlap was the catalyst with a 3-for-4 day that included a double and four RBI. Evan Shade, Ian Ferrero and Malachi Duka each had a pair of knocks, including extra base hits for Shade and Duka. Evan Witting earned the win, allowing three earned runs in 4.1 innings.

Enam Robinson went 2-for-3 for Pottstown, which scored all six of its runs in the fifth inning. UP scored at least one run in all seven innings.

Boys Lacrosse

BOYERTOWN 18, POPE JOHN PAUL II 3 >> Lane Yergey’s five goals paved the way to a Bears PAC crossover win over the Golden Panthers on Tuesday.

Aidan McFalls and Adam Gallagher added hat tricks for Boyertown, which also got two-goal games from Luke Heimbach (assist) and Gage Parker. Jonathan Mayan (two assists), Ryder Gehris and Wyatt Yerger rounded out the Bears’ scoring with Grizz Eardley adding an assist.

Wyatt Yerger and John McGrath combined to win 16-of-19 faceoffs. METHACTON 11, PHOENIXVIL­LE 3 >> After a 2-2 tie at halftime, the Warriors outscored the Phantoms 9-1 in the second half on the way to a PAC crossover win.

Justin Sanelli accounted for seven of Methacton’s scores with four goals and three assists. Jimmy Maro scored twice and Brendan Sanelli scored once with goalie Owen Avelar making 11 Saves.

OWEN J. ROBERTS 10, POTTSGROVE 5 >> Josh Devine figured in on six OJR goals in Tuesday’s win over the Falcons.

Devine netted two goals of his own and assisted on four others in the Wildcats’ win. Will Jaeger, Dylan Mercadante and Gabriel Della Penna (two assists) also tallied a pair of goals apiece. McCausland Fisher, Will Whitlock and Chase Jorgensen rounded out OJR’s scorers.

Justin Wescoat scored twice and Colin Bradley, Rylee Howard and Max Neeson (9-of-16 faceoffs) added goals for the Falcons. Dominic Sithens made 11 saves.

Girls Lacrosse PERKIOMEN VALLEY 14, POTTSGROVE 4 >>

Kaleigh Funk led the way with four goals and Emily Carney and Anna Dawson added a pair of hat tricks for the Vikings in Tuesday’s PAC crossover win.

Elle Ambruster added two goals and an assist, while Tori Bruno tallied a goal and three assists to round out PV’s offensive contributo­rs.

Sydney Wasdick netted a pair of goals and Sydney Tornetta and Taylor Fiorini both added one for the Falcons. Makenzie Johnson and Lily Guerrette both made three saves.

OWEN J. ROBERTS 20, POTTSTOWN 2 >> Blakely Doyle had a hand in five goals Tuesday as the Wildcats cruised to a PAC crossover win.

Doyle (two assists) and Ava Clemson (assist) both tallied hat tricks. Gabbi Koury (nine draw controls) and Maggie Kilgallon added two goals and an assist each. Gracyn Smith had three assists.

Spring-Ford 17, Upper Merion 9 >> Mac Maloney and Alyssa Mozi combined for 10 goals as the Rams rose past the Vikings in a PAC crossover Tuesday.

The six goals of Maloney and four of Mozi were complement­ed by Brenna Whiteside (2), Abbey Boyer (2), Emma Sowers (1), Jordyn Edwards (1) and Madi Doyle (1).

Upper Merion got multiple goals from Cat Merritt (4) and Julianna Collison (2)

The Panthers swept their singles matches Tuesday agains the Moose

William Woolley, Fred Knof and Joey Kelly picked up singles wins, while the team of Arun Chinnakaru­ppan and Brandon Legris won at first doubles for Perk.
