Genevieve “Jenny” A Cisick

Genevieve “Jenny” A. (Trojan) Cisick, 100, of Boyertown, PA, passed away on August 29, 2021, at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul Cisick, who passed in 1963.

Born in Linfield, PA, on July 10, 1921, Jenny was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Glowacz) Trojan, and the last child to pass away among eleven other siblings. Jenny is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Lauren Fitting, Melody Rhoads, Lisa Kirlin, and Charles Rhoads, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Jenny Hertzog, Felisha Leets, Abigail Rhoads, and Cody Rhoads; and her great-great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Hertzog, Jillian Hertzog, and Hunter Leets.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jenny is predeceased by her longtime companion, Norton Van Kirk; her son, Dennis Cisick; and her daughter, Patricia Rhoads.

A viewing will take place on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Saint Columbkill Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown, PA 19512. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place after the service at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605.
